Exotic Dancer (ED) Publications, producers of the Exotic Dancer
Club Bulletin magazine, the Annual Gentlemen’s Club Owners
Expo and the Annual Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show,
are pleased to announce their 2011 ED’s Awards Show feature
entertainer award nominees. The 14th Annual Awards Show and Reception
— “A Black & White Bash” — will be hosted
by popular comedian Nick DiPaolo and will be held inside the Grand
Ballroom at The Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Tuesday,
August 23rd, from 8 p.m. The ED's Awards Show is held each year
during the Gentlemen's Club Owners Expo.
Award
nominations were accepted online at www.theEDawards.com
for a two-week period in June/July. Based primarily on these votes,
as well as input from the ED staff, these award nominees will appear
on the Final Awards Ballot. The Official 2011 Adult Nightclub and
Exotic Dancer Awards Show ballot was posted online only from July
18-August 5, at www.TheEDAwards.com.
There are four award categories for feature entertainers at the
Annual ED’s Awards Show: Newcomer Entertainer of the Year,
Adult Movie Entertainer of the Year, Club Favorite Entertainer of
the Year and the prestigious Overall Entertainer of the Year. Each
of the five Overall Entertainer of the Year nominees will provide
a live feature performance during the Awards Show. (Note: Entertainers
who win an ED award are not permitted to win that same award the
following year.)

Lynn, Lacey Rain, Mina Harker, Richelle Ryan, RubberDoll, Skyler

The following clubs are nominated for ED's Overall Gentlemen's Club
of the Year Award (clubs in this category have either won their
region recently or have been nominated several times in their region)
Overall

Club, Philadelphia, PA; Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club, San Francisco,
CA; Jaguars Gold Club, Phoenix, AZ; Rick’s Cabaret, New York

New this year! The ED’s Awards will be honoring “small”
clubs and Miss ExoticDancer.com
The
ED’s Awards Show will now celebrate the “small”
club! While it may seem that the “big” guys get all
the attention, we at ED Publications know that the “small”
club — those under 5 or 6,000 square feet — make up
the bulk of adult nightclubs across the country. To further illustrate
that point, we’re going to be presenting two awards for each
of our five award regions; one will be for the “large”
clubs in the major markets, and one will be for “small”
clubs in both major and smaller markets. “With so many great,
multi-million-dollar clubs in this industry, it becomes harder and
harder for the smaller clubs to stand out in the crowd,” says
ED’s Associate Publisher, Dave Manack. “That’s
why we feel that it’s about time we honor those clubs who,
despite their smaller size, are no less successful or award-worthy.”
The one new entertainer-related award is the Miss ExoticDancer.com
Award. Each feature entertainer who has been a Miss ExoticDancer.com
of the month (which began in October 2010) will be eligible to win.
